Latest Energy Blast

I was reading Karen Bishop's (What's up on Planet Earth) latest Energy Alert. Her main message is for us to carefully monitor our thoughts. With the latest energy blasts, whatever we are thinking about (positive or negative) is being manifested at an incredibly fast rate! I for one would like to think positively and be in the higher vibrations and watch my wonderful thoughts and visions manifest!

I've seen in the past week the Indigo children (mine included) pump up the volume to let us know what is not working! Alton has been acting out at school and at home. I'm trying to give Alton alternative solutions to his acting out, but being only six it may take a while for him to change? I keep focusing on the positive for Alton. In the meantime he spends time at school in doors at recess and lunch writing lines and at home sitting in the corner. Believe me I've tried a lot of creative ways to get Alton to listen and sitting in the corner with nothing to do seems to work (for today anyways!). He only has 4 more weeks of school, I hope his teacher makes it! There are a lot of Indigo's doing what they can to get our attention. I know their "acting" out will only get louder and louder until we actually do something to change the various systems. I am looking at alternatives for schooling for next September for Alton. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank goodness I have a very loving group of wonderful friends and family to support me and of course all of my Angels!

An Attitude of Gratitude!

I'm sure by now most of the planet has seen, read or at least heard of "The Secret." The Law of Attraction is really a very simple concept, so why is it so hard to put to use?

I guess for a lot of us all our lives we're bombarded with negativity. We're told by one or more people what we can or cannot do. If we're not rich and successful (or come from a family that is) we're told it's very hard to become rich and successful and we may as well not even try as we'll probably fail? I don't believe in "failure," to me there is no such thing. I may start out with something and it may not turn out as planned (some people may say what I tried ended up unsuccessful), but to me it's all part of my journey. There is no good or bad, right or wrong, there just is. I learn from everything I do!

I have slowly but surely been practicing the Law of Attraction and it really does work, very well actually. I started out small - one day on the way to my friend Tina's place I thought "I would really like to drink a good cup of coffee." I walked through the door at Tina's and after saying hello she asked me if I'd like a cup of coffee? Wow! For those of us recently acquainted with the Law of Attraction it may take a little time for it to become a way of life. Please stick with it, don't give up, it does get easier!

I recently started my "gratitude journal" again. Every night before I go to sleep I write down a minimum of 5 things I'm grateful for that day. I first started this journal about 5 years ago and it was not easy at first. Now I usually have to stop after 10 or so or it could go on and on. I find if I'm in an attitude of gratitude that it's really hard for negative thoughts to creep into my mind and if they do I can easily replace them. Don't get me wrong, I still have days where just the basic 5 goes into my journal!

I wonder how I'll paint the rest of my afternoon? I hope whoever reads this is having fun with their life?

WE'RE NOT MEANT TO FIT IN. WE'RE MEANT TO STAND OUT!

HAVE I EVER BEEN IN LOVE; "WITH MYSELF," SAID I, "AND MOST PASSIONATELY." WHEN ANY MAN LIKES ME I NEVER AM SURPRISED, FOR I THINK HOW SHOULD HE HELP IT? WHEN ANY MAN DOES NOT LIKE ME, I THINK HIM A BLOCKHEAD! (Hester Lynch Piozzi 1781)

My Little Indigo

If there were a poster child for Indigo's it may be my son, my little warrior. He is here to show me (and all of us) what is not working, especially with the Education system.

I started this blog at the suggestion of a very dear friend of mine with the intention of sharing information/stories about Indigo's with other parents/care givers/family members.

The first time I looked into my son's eyes I knew he was an old soul and he "got" it. It wasn't until he was three that I really knew he was a little different from what I would consider your average kid. While our car was being towed to the garage, my son said to me "Mom, when I was big, before I got little and came here, I used to be a teacher." He then went on to describe to me (and the tow truck driver) how he used to teach in a big school with lots of little kids. He said he got tired of the big city and moved to a small town where he taught in a small school. Since then he has told me of several past lives, which I will talk about later.

My son is also very social and outgoing. He'll go up to people and say "Hi, what's your name? How old are you?" He's so definitely not shy! I find it very interesting that it's mostly the men who don't like being asked how old they are.
